This is how I feel about my mom and dad. When they first died, I visited their graves constantly searching for solace in the stone that marked their spot. Now 21 years on for my mom and 10 years later for my dad, I find them in my memories and in my heart instead of by looking at that piece of rock. Lovely job.

ReplyDeleteWe don't have a grave for the dearly departed and we don't keep their ashes either. It is only their memories we are left with once they move on.
